Bindi's 13th Birthday Party
FANS around the world have watched Bindi Irwin grow from a little girl into a stylish young lady and now there's no denying the Crocodile Hunter's little girl is all grown up.
Bindi, the rocking Wildlife Warrior star, showed off her love for a bit of retro fashion and music when she celebrated her 13th birthday with family and fans at Australia Zoo yesterday.
With mum Terri and little brother Bob in tow, Bindi turned the clock back to the 1950s with zoo staff, mascots and fans decked out in bobby socks and poodle skirts.
The cast from the musical Grease performed live in the Crocoseum, Elvis fed the crocs, Buddy Holly wandered the zoo grounds and 1950s vintage cars paraded through the venue.
Bindi dressed to impress in her best rock'n'roll outfit and 1950s hairstyle to arrive in a vintage Cadillac.
"It was so exciting," she said as the party raged.
"It was great to see so many kids were in the audience and joining in the festivities.
"We had '50s dance workshops, the cast from the musical Grease and the best cake ever.
"I couldn't have asked to have a better day."

School of hard crocs out for Bindi
BINDI Irwin celebrated a graduation with a difference in front of hundreds of fans at Australia Zoo yesterday.
After spending two years in “croc school” learning safe feeding and handling techniques, the 12-year-old took on her first public demonstration of the tail-walking abilities of the saltwater crocodile, which they use to jump out of the water to catch prey.
Her mother Terri fondly recalls a two-year-old Bindi bursting into tears whenever she could not go down to the Crocoseum and watch her dad at work.
A decade later, Bindi bravely stepped on to the podium and, under the guidance of zoo director Wes Mannion, rewarded 400kg Monty with three meat strips and a “rat burger” for demonstrating his tail-walking abilities.
“It was an amazing experience,” Bindi gushed once the demonstration was complete.
“I was a bit nervous and everything feels like it’s going in slow motion but it’s important to teach people how to be safe around croc territory and learn to love these great modern day dinosaurs.”
With her first show complete, Bindi will become a fixture at the Crocoseum in the school holidays, feeding the crocs every day until Sunday, July 10
